Brian Cheevers could have had 90 percent of the women in the room on Monday night. He was a Repeat Performer, having sung last week as well, and we had ONLY one complaint last week - that Brian held his microphone in a CHOKE HOLD with BOTH HANDS and WHITE KNUCKES and never once let go of that mic with either hand. Well I'm happy to report that holding his mic with ONE HAND the entire song put his ass in SECOND PLACE!!! Brian, ya' damn near won the thing.
Need I mention there were perfect pitch, perfect dynamics, great emotion, great Stage Presence, and a serious "WOW" factor? Nope. Score says it all.
