As a judge, giving a score of 10 for ANYTHING doesn't happen much. If you hand out 10's, you end up scoring everyone super high and then you have a bunch of ties. We start on the notion that an 8 to a 9 is pretty amazing.
Krista Condon walks out and I'm thinkin... OK, she's cute, little hat on, almost looks shy.
WRONG AGAIN! The girl picked "All Jacked Up" by Gretchen Wilson, and from NOTE ONE we were stunned. STRONG voice, HITTING her notes, and came with more than enough attitude to support that song. It's not a tune for the shy, and this girl really showed up. The overall performance was very, very good and save for a few notes that got missed when she started traveling the room - it was damn near perfect. I'd go see her perform live. She definitely had three 10's from me. Kickass!
